Stress management challenge: Reflection and Wrap up

Congratulations! You made it to the end of the 5-Day Stress Management Challenge! I hope you enjoyed participating in this challenge! I’m so proud of you and I want to celebrate your dedication in taking the time to prioritize yourself, getting to know yourself a little deeper, and taking steps to take back control of your life.

Sometimes I think some of these challenges can be a little silly or explore very simple concepts. That quickly changes when I look at the statistics about the rise in adults reporting higher levels of stress, I am reminded about how important discussions around these topics really are. Additionally, stress is inevitability and I believe at every new level we reach there will be required to operate at different capacities than we may have been used to and there will be new stressors, different signs and symptoms, and even a call for new and unique coping strategies, therefore, you can never be lose by spending time with yourself, being present, and getting to know yourself.

Personally, I found this challenge liberating because I took the time to sit with myself and reassess each concept explored during the challenge and apply it to the new version of me. More specifically, I explored my stressors and identified creative ways to avoid and navigate them, I also added a few new coping strategies to my list, and I realized that I am persistent, consistent, and becoming more aware of who I am each and every day.

Here are some reflection questions to consider:

  1. What did you learn about yourself?

  2. What was your favorite part of the challenge?

  3. What are your takeaways?

  4. How will you take what you learned and take back control of your life?

  5. How will you share/support others with this information gain with others?

We’d love to hear from you! Please feel free to comment and share about your experience and takeaways from this challenge.
