Why I Started Well Together: A Passion for Helping Others

As a social worker, I have had my fair share of struggles with wellness. I remember working tirelessly to support my clients with their mental health and wellness, but my own well-being was suffering. I was struggling with anxiety, depression, and burnout. But through these challenges, I have come to realize the importance of holistic wellness and the impact it has on our overall well-being.

Working with clients in the mental health field, I saw firsthand the need for a more holistic approach to wellness. I noticed that many of my clients were struggling with not just their mental health, but also their physical health, relationships, and overall sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Despite this realization, I found that there was a lack of representation and resources for holistic wellness within the mental health and wellness field, whether it was in trainings at work or in articles in magazines. I saw very few people who looked like me or came from similar backgrounds. I realized that there was a need for more diversity and inclusivity within the wellness community. Which made me realize there was a gap that needed to be filled and that's why I started Well Together.

Well Together is a platform dedicated to promoting holistic wellness and providing resources and support for individuals looking to improve their overall well-being. We believe in considering the whole person and the different aspects of their lives that impact their wellness. We also strive to promote representation and inclusivity within the wellness field.

I am passionate about helping others and I believe that by promoting holistic wellness, we can empower individuals to take control of their well-being and live their best lives. That's why I started Well Together, and I am excited to continue to grow and evolve as we work towards our mission.

So, if you're feeling like I was, lost, uncertain, and in need of support, or ever been there, join me on this journey. Let's work together to improve our wellness and create more inclusive and equitable communities, organizations, and systems.
